Decim8 - 2012
These images were shot and manipulated with an iPhone 4. The purpose of this series is to explore and experiment with the concept of mobile photography (iPhoneography) and its ability to make photographic art in an easy portable manner. These images and more can be found in book and ebook form.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
RAGE - 2010
This project was an experiment using a lensless camera and light.
SAFE TOMORROW NOW - 2009
SAFE TOMORROW NOW is a visual metaphor for human frailty and a sense of false safety. The models are naked to exaggerate human weakness, and the gas masks are meant to signify a false sense of safety. Gas masks are meant to protect from inhalation of hazardous materials, but these masks lack the canister filters. In the photos the models are shown performing ordinary tasks, willfully ignorant to the many dangers that exist in this world.
Found Alphabet - 2009
This project involved finding all 26 letters of the English alphabet in my old photographs.
iPhoneography
AE - 2012
AE was a digital continuation of a cyanotype project called FC. The series looked at the ability to recognize the human face through distortion.
